today i came home to my mom’s to pick up the accordion that michael gave me last winter. when i got there, my mom directed me to this beaut (definitely not the painted-blue accordion with back-pack straps that michael played). she said that when she was going through the basement she found the case and thought it was another sewing machine (two mysterious and beautiful antique singer machines were found too). neither of us have seen it before. we don’t know where it’s from or who it belonged to. she said that she most likely got it from a $2 table at an auction. afterwards, we sat in the kitchen and talked about winter. she asked if i would take a usui reiki class with her. come february, we’ll both receive attunements and will be able to give healing treatments. as if things could get more bizarre…
